We won't sell or give away your name, mail address, phone number, email address or any other information to anyone.

We'll use the latest security measures to protect your information from unauthorized users

What do you do with the information?

We are required by the Data Protection Act 1984 and 1998 to follow strict procedures to protect customer information.

We use your personal information collected to help us to:

      1. identify the validity of users

      2. email users to confirm that they have registered with us

      3. allow questions about swaps and acceptance and rejection of offers to be forwarded

      4. allow us to contact users when required

      5. allow us to mail users with information about our service

When a member makes an offer on a swap, accepts or rejects a swap or asks or replies to questions, no personal or contact details are disclosed. When a swap is agreed we will then ask the parties concerned to provide the contact details they wish to give to the other person. These are the only details sent to the other person. In order for us to provide the best service possible and to make the website easier for users we also collect information on: browser type (e.g. Navigator, Internet Explorer), operating system (e.g. Macintosh, Windows), IP address and Internet domain (e.g. Demon, AOL). We use technology to save your password for each session so you don't have to re-enter it each time you login to our service. Members can disable this facility when registering or by editing their "my profile page".

Will we pass your information on?

No, TheGameCollective is not interested in making money by passing your details onto third partys. We will never make your details available to any third party.
